Rihanna seems to be an unstoppable force: a chart-topping singer, world-class performer, and successful entrepreneur at Fenty Beauty. Not to mention recently giving birth to her second child with her husband, famed rapper A$AP Rocky. Now, the Diamonds musician flaunts a new impressive achievement: her bathroom walls. This is a bathroom design idea everyone will want to try.

We spotted the brave bathroom wall idea on Rihanna's Instagram in a video where she is trying out her Fenty Resting Peach Face Cream Blush. Behind her, the stylish bathroom walls are bright white marble with light gray streaks. Between each block of marble, contrasting black bands make a stylish impact.

Designers say Rihanna's walls give the bathroom a luxury feel. Jove Meyer, designer and creative director at Jove Meyer Designssays 'This design feels like a high-end hotel bathroom, more than a residential one. The benefit of this design is that it is minimal and clean, so you can focus on the person in the mirror and not be distracted by bold art or patterns, it gives a full-on modern spa vibe.'

Jove Meyer crafts a vivid, colorful world inspired by his clients who dare to be different. Meyer set out to build a global design firm antithetical to his conservative and rigid upbringing by encouraging authenticity, celebrating diversity, and empowering marginalized communities. As a result, his work has been featured in Domino, Good Morning America, The Magnolia Network, The New York Times, Rachael Ray Magazine.

'The choice of white and grey marble with black horizontal stripes for Rihanna’s bathroom wall offers several design benefits, such as elegance and luxury. Marble is often associated with sophistication, and the white and grey tones in this design contribute to an upscale energy,' continues interior design expert, David Lindley.

Design home expert David Lindley has over 13 years in the property sector. He is a specialist in the marketing and sale of luxury residential property with a keen eye for detail and interior design. With By Design, David has created a network of the UK’s leading, independent estate agents, specialising in curating beautiful premium homes across the nation, helping luxury homes find their perfect buyers.

Furthermore, designers love that the design makes the room appear larger. Interior designer Jove Meyer says, 'The benefit of a modern, clean gray marble with black stripe design in your bathroom is that it expands the room.' He continues, 'Horizontal stripes tend to do that, especially when mixed with the lighter tone marble, it expands this room to be wider and larger than it actually is.' Design expert David Lindley adds, 'The horizontal stripes also create an illusion of a wider space, making the bathroom feel more open and less confined.'

Most importantly, experts say, the design of Rihanna's walls is visually striking. 'What I like about this styling is the balanced use of materials and colors,' says David Lindley. 'The white and grey marble exudes a sense of luxury and refinement, while the black horizontal stripes inject a touch of modernity and creativity into the design. The combination of these elements creates a visually captivating environment that merges classic and contemporary aesthetics,' he states.

With the combination of materials and colors, Rihanna creates a truly luxurious feel in her bathroom. May we all hope to employ such stylish marble bathroom ideas in our own homes.
