SimplyNUC Onyx: New Intel Raptor Lake

SimplyNUC has now opened pre-orders for the Onyx, a mini-PC that the company debuted last week. To recap, the SimplyNUC Onyx relies on Intel Raptor Lake-H processors within a 117 x 112 x 54 mm housing. At launch, SimplyNUC has decided to offer the NUC130Xv9, NUC130Xi7 and NUC130Xi5, which it equips with the Core i9-13900H, Core i7-13700H and Core i5-13500H, respectively.

By default, the SimplyNUC Onyx comes fully configured and starts at US$699. As always, the company offers various configuration options, including accessories for the device's numerous ports. For example, all SKUs can be configured up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM and 16 TB of storage split between single M.2 2280 (PCIe Gen 4) and 2.5-nich SSDs.

Additionally, SimplyNUC lists five operating system options, including installing no OS, a 5-year extended support service and NUC lid options for adding more ports.
